As a former Division 1 Student-Athlete and Professional Football player I have learned three valuable lessons: 1. How to to take calculated risks. 2. How to be consistent in proactive behavior, which helps in situations where one must be reactive. 3. How to handle adversity for myself and the greater good of the team. Current: Currently working with the BEST Real Estate Brokerage in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, The Vibe Brokerage ! In addition to that I am a Financial Analyst for a woman-owned real estate development company where we develop affordable housing. I am involved in many things such as: Usher at Bethlehelm Baptist Church Real Estate Committee Member - Bethlehelm Baptist Church Board member for the Historic West Mansfield Community Development Corporation Board Member for Leadership Fort Worth Board Member for B.R.I.D.G.E Fort Worth Board Member of Total Christian Life Ministry Member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. serving on the executive board as the Corresponding Secretary Member of the Urban Land Institute (Dallas-Fort Worth) Member of National Black MBA Association Who is Reggie? Athletics has done so much for not only my career but for me as a human. Through the experiences sport has afforded me I have come to this conclusion. In concert with athletics, I have a deep passion for people, finance, investments and real estate. I would describe myself as a man of faith, who has integrity, and has high expectations not only for myself but for those around me. Impact: I lend my hand to all facets of any operation, especially where there are gaps. I was raised to believe and behave on the principle that no action in service to others and the greater good of a goal is beneath who I am. For example, when I served as a Manager at the Cape Girardeau Sportsplex, my duty was to supervisor and delegate tasks to Facility Attendants/Rovers that were related to the cleanliness of the facility (cleaning bathrooms, mopping floors, etc.). I made it my duty to not only delegate those tasks to them but work alongside them on numerous occasions. Most recently, this is seen in my willingness to serve as an unpaid Campaign Manager, while working a full-time job and being a MBA student. Being a Campaign Manager wasn't a move for me professionally. I saw this as an opportunity to help communities and individuals have a new choice at their polling place and help a candidate go after their dream. Qualities: Champion Attitude | Empathetic | Detail-Oriented | Trustworthy | Respectfully Honest | Opportunity Focused Fun/Hobbies: I take my well-being seriously which is why I love to workout and play sports for fun. Before I identified my gift in sports, I would frequently visit the library to read, I continue this hobby to this day at Barnes & Noble. My father has a saying "I love to laugh but I'm not a joke." That is who I am. I do my best everyday to find time to laugh whether I create it or enjoy it with someone else. Contact: Feel free to message me.
